We are working on an exciting, cutting edge co-development title on Unity for PC and console with a large scale publisher. We are looking to bring on a skilled engineer with experience developing titles using Unity on PC. 


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating, implementing, and supporting new game features
  • Work on and improve the tech stack that the game utilises 
  • Finding technical solutions for problems and issues
  • Optimising and maintaining existing code
  • Liaising with other team members to schedule and complete tasks to a high quality

REQUIREMENTS

  • Expert in C#
  • Expert in Unity3D (version 5 or above)
  • Expert-level knowledge of optimisation tools and techniques
  • Experience working with cross-platform codebases
  • A good understanding of 3D Mathematics, as well as 2D/3D graphics and rendering techniques
  • A minimum of 3 years commercial experience developing videogames on PC using Unity
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to self-organise
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills in English


BONUS POINTS

  • Experience porting videogames between modern videogame platforms (for example, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch or PC)
  • Experience of scripting languages (Python, Lua)
  • Experience working with third party middleware (network, physics, audio, effects)
  • Experience working with Unity HDRP (High Definition Render Pipeline)
